Home care services are part of the Association’s Senior Services Program, which is listed on the National Council for Standards in Nursing CQC (Care Quality Commission) Registered, the core team members include home care service manager, quality management manager, administrative director, home care service assistant and more than 20 home care workers.

The service is mainly for Chinese elders, followed by the needy adult disabled people in the London area. The number of service users is about 60. Home care aide services range from assisting with shopping, basic daily household chores, and various forms of work to personal care. The services provided to service users have been well received by social workers and meet the standards set by the Community Care Act and the National Health Service (NHS) in 1990. This service is regularly audited by the Department of Social Services, Commission Joint Review and Best Value Therefore, home care services actually provide efficient and high-quality work to provide assistance to people living alone in the community and improve their independence and quality of life. At the same time, service users have the opportunity to express their opinions and expectations, so as to know the advantages and disadvantages of the service and make improvements.

In response to the needs of service development, we are looking for a number of part-time home care workers. The scope of work of a home care aide includes providing day and night personal care and daily domestic help services to Tower Hamlets, Newham, Islington, Hackney, Lewisham, Southwark, Barnet Chinese and Vietnamese elders living in the area.

Home Care Worker Hourly Wage £11.05 – £11.95.

An additional 5.6 weeks of paid leave (prorated for full-time caregivers).

The company has a pension scheme (Work Place Pension Scheme).

Priority will be given to candidates who have obtained a nationally recognized Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 or equivalent.

  • British citizen or valid work visa
  • Can speak fluent Cantonese
  • Experienced in caring for the elderly
  • Patient and enthusiastic about community work
  • willing to accept training
